What is tauschool?

tauschool is a free online quiz platform for Malaysian secondary school students. We cover KSSM (Form 1–5) and Cambridge IGCSE (Year 7–11) with hundreds of multiple-choice questions per subject, mapped to your exact syllabus and chapter structure.

Is tauschool free?

Yes — tauschool is completely free. All subjects, chapters, and quiz modes are available at no cost. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but the core platform will always remain free.

Do I need an account?

You can try a quiz without an account. However, to save your progress, track your history, and access all quiz modes, you need to create a free account.

How do I create an account?

Tap "Sign up" and choose your preferred sign-in method: Google, email and password, or phone number (OTP). Then select your syllabus and form/year.

What syllabi are supported?

We support KSSM (Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah) for Form 1–5, and Cambridge IGCSE for Year 7–11.

What are the quiz modes?

We offer three modes: Quick Drill — 10 questions, fast review; Practice Set — 20 questions, solid practice; Full Set — 40 questions, deep practice

What does "recently seen" mean?

When you take a quiz, we remember which questions you've seen so we can prioritise fresh questions on your next attempt. This helps you cover more of the question pool over time.

Can I save my progress mid-quiz?

Yes. During a quiz, tap "Save & Exit" to save your current progress. The next time you open the same chapter and mode, you'll have the option to resume where you left off.

How is my score calculated?

Your score is based on the number of correct answers out of the total questions in the quiz mode (10, 20, or 40). Percentages are shown throughout the app.

What is the streak?

Your streak counts consecutive days where you complete at least one quiz. If you miss a day, your streak resets to 0. The streak is shown on your dashboard.

Where can I see my full progress?

Go to Menu → My Progress. You'll see a detailed breakdown by subject and chapter, including accuracy rates, score trends, and your full quiz history.

Can I download my progress?

Yes. In the My Progress screen, tap "Download Report Card" to generate a printable report showing your performance across all subjects and chapters.

Why does my progress reset when I switch forms?

Each form/year has its own set of subjects and chapters. When you switch the active year in My Progress, you'll see the data for that specific year. Your data for other years is preserved.

How do I change my name or email?

Go to Menu → Edit Profile. From there you can update your name, email address, phone number, and password.

How do I change my syllabus or year?

In Edit Profile, you can update your syllabus and year selection. Note that your quiz history for the old syllabus/year will still be preserved.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Edit Profile and tap **Delete Account** in the Danger Zone section. Your account and all associated data will be removed permanently. If you need help, email **dpo@tauschool.com**.

tauschool works best on modern browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser updated.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet — but tauschool is fully optimised for mobile browsers. You can add it to your home screen on iOS (Share → Add to Home Screen) or Android (Menu → Add to Home Screen) for an app-like experience.

The quiz isn't loading. What should I do?

Try these steps: Refresh the page; Check your internet connection; Clear your browser cache; Try a different browser; If the problem persists, email support@tauschool.com with a description of the issue

I found an error in a question. How do I report it?

Accepted Answer

Email support@tauschool.com with the subject "Question Error", the subject name, chapter, and a description of the error. We review and correct errors within 7 business days.
